I went out for a drive and on the way home a house down my street had thrown out some hard rubbish to be collected by the council bin guys from off their front lawn, among the bric and brac was a 60cm tellevision that still works!, wow, and just after i rescued it, it started rainging heavily and would have been ruined for sure....i cant believe it, i got almost all channels to work on it too..Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Also on the list so far of diving for this week has been a tape deck and kick ass equalizer that works!
also a weeks worth of bread, tons of kitchen glasses and flower vases, some retro chairs Image hosted by Photobucket.com
tons of shoes all in good condition, and a few kids toys :P

every week there has been something interesting, just when you think people wouldnt possibly throw things out if they were working, you get home, plug it in, and yep, you guessed it, most of the stuff still works! so dont worry if your not sure if the stuff your recycling doesnt work, just ttry it anyway, you might be surprised, heck i know i am.

Over the last week, ive sourced out a local dive spot for food items like
gourmet bread, guormet sweets and a few smal household hard items but out of the
lot of them, the gourmet sweet rolls would have to be the winner so far...you
guys would not believe how good they taste.

they were in sealed plastic,
in another bag before tossed intop of the bin, what a waste...i couldnt believe
it...over half a dozen of them in one week so far, retailing at the gourmet shop
that throws them out for $5 each.

Ofcourse everything gets checked for
mold and cleanliness before packaging and storing and eating...and to be
honest...most things i have found so far have been just as fresh as most store
bought veg and bread and its making me mad to see what actually gets thrown out
in this crazy world of ours.

im facing a problem however,
there is too
much of it, im trying to give it away and do something with it, me and my family
cant eat it all...so im asking for suggestions...surplus food items that need to
be eaten within 5 days of finding them, like bread for example...when i find 50
gourmet loaves of this...what would you do with them after taking a few yourself
ofcourse...????
